Job Description
Stat X-Ray of New Jersey provides x-ray services for bed-bound and mobility-limited patients. Sites we service include all healthcare related facilities, such as nursing homes and government facilities. Our technicians arrive on demand, performing x-ray scans at patients’ bedside without discomforting them. Using DR/DX technology, images and results are available moments later for analysis online.
As a X-Ray Technician you will perform routine radiography assignments, producing high quality radiographs with minimum stress and exposure to the patient. X-Ray Technician visits many nursing facilities with a company vehicle and portable X-Ray equipment. You will have the opportunity to employ your skills and expertise on a regular basis. Our company operates from 9am – Midnight with different shifts available. This is a full-time position (5 days/week) and needs be your primary job.
Responsibilities:
- Capturing X-Rays as ordered by provider
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
- Transporting portable X-Ray equipment using a company vehicle
- Position patients correctly and provide clear instructions to obtain high-quality images.
- Review and evaluate images for quality and accuracy, identifying any abnormalities or inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze images.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Maintaining equipment cleanliness and reviewing supplies levels, noticing and reporting malfunctions and notifying the supervisor of the need to order specific items.
- Adhere to safety protocols and follow radiation protection guidelines.
Experience:
- Proficient in performing a X-rays
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to accurately position patients and capture optimal images.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Licensed X-Ray Technician
- High school education or equivalent
- Valid drivers license
- EKG experience is a plus
- 1+ years of experience preferred; Recent graduates welcome to apply

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour
