SalarySTS Aerospace in Elmwood Park, NJ is looking for an experienced Product Development Engineerwho will work with a team of people involved in ensuring the proper planning and development of customer requirement for current and new products.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Review of customer flow down, specifications and approvals are met and documented.
- Convert information into a useable format in the company system.
- Completion of checklists, generation of travelers, and development of instructions.
- Overseeing meetings for various steps in this review process, and assuring schedules are met, and coordinating the efforts of other team members involved in Product Development.
- Excellent team player with a great attitude.
Requirements:
- Proven working experience as a quality/product engineer or in a related field.
- Experience in blueprint reading and spec interpretation.
- Must be comfortable in a manufacturing environment often fast-paced and loud.
- Must be able to stand, lift, walk, bend, and reach during their shift.
- Must be comfortable wearing safety glasses.
- Work well within a team.
- Creative and innovative thinking skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
Inputs from production, management, quality, and planning will be used to improve the process.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
