Description

In this role you will:

The Radiologic Technologist will provide quality patient care and customer service. They will radiograph each patient with speed, efficiency and compassion following FOIs basic policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform digital x-ray exams on patients to the level of FOIs productivity standards.
  • Utilize collimation on every image and filtration when necessary.
  • Follows all physician protocols.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team-player.
  • Must be flexible with schedule
  • Document and maintain daily patient x-ray exams as required by the State of Florida rules and regulations.
  • Maintain radiology injectables for special procedures.
  • Assist physicians with Special procedures.
  • Order supplies and equipment, ensuring all is kept at a minimum par level.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Maintain Florida License and ARRT License by adhering to CEU responsibilities.
  • Complete Daily Totals Sheet.
  • Initial Charge Tickets.
  • Assure compliance with all company plans, policies and procedures set forth by the Florida Orthopaedic Institute
  • All other duties as assigned.

About You:

  • Must be ARRT certified
  • Must have current Florida license
  • Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience
  • Must display excellent customer services skills and the ability to multi-task
  • BLS Certification required within 90 days of employment
