X-Ray Technician/Medical Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations on patients as prescribed by physicians
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during the imaging process
- Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality images
- Operate X-ray equipment and adjust settings to produce clear and accurate images
- Review images for quality and ensure proper documentation of procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow radiation safety protocols and guidelines

Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or X-ray Technician
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to accurately position patients for imaging
- Proficiency in operating X-ray equipment and related technology
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
- Familiarity with medical terminology and patient care procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide quality patient service

Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in a hospital or medical setting
- Ability to administer medications as directed by physicians
