X-ray Technician

Crown Imaging - a family owned center - is seeking a licensed and dedicated X-ray Technician to join our medical imaging team. You will play a crucial role in providing accurate diagnostic evaluations to assist in providing excellent patient care.

With your hours being Monday thru Friday, you have your weekends off with NO CALL.

Hours are 8:30-5:00 or 9:00 to 5:30.

Additionally, you are PAID to be off for most major holidays - to spend time with family ! This is on top of PTO which 80 hours a year.

Qualified candidates who prove themselves have been given the opportunity to cross train on CT or MRI (the current RT is completing her training on CT now).

Job Responsibilities-Duties:
- Perform various imaging procedures including X-rays & Fluoroscopy
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort
- Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with safety protocols
- Review images for quality and ensure that all necessary information is captured
- Collaborate with radiologists to interpret and analyze images
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety

Qualifications:
- Valid certification as an X-ray Technician (RT) from a 2-year program
- Proficient in performing X-rays; 1 year experience (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team oriented environment

Actual Pay rate is based on experience and interview.

Covid-19 vaccinations are not currently required for employees; however, masks must be worn. Employees are responsible for monitoring themselves including temperatures and symptoms and are not to come into work if symptomatic based on Radiologist/Medical Director parameters.
