We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technician to join our medical team. As an X-ray Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using specialized equipment. Your expertise in Fluoroscopy and medical imaging will play a crucial role in assisting physicians with accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
Duties:
- Perform X-ray scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures as directed by physicians
- Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety measures
- Review images for quality and clarity, making adjustments as necessary
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to analyze images and provide accurate reports
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Follow aseptic techniques to prevent infection transmission
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques
Skills:
- Proficiency in X-ray and Fluoroscopy
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately interpret images
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment effectively
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate image capture and analysis
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
