The professional writer-editor will be an expert storyteller who can also edit. The writer-editor will be responsible for assisting in writing original content as well as editing marketing collateral for internal and external audiences for print and digital platforms. The writer-editor will use discretion and sound judgment in making all decisions and interacting with clients, including executive level team members. The writer-editor will support manager and department, helping train and mentor other team members as needed.

- Education: 4 Year Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications or English, required.
- Experience: Minimum of five years writing experience in a newsroom or agency setting; Five years of editing experience in a newsroom or agency setting or comparable environment, required. Experience working with a project management software tool, preferred.
- Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Exceptional English language and grammar skills with the ability to edit complex material to ensure accuracy, clarity and effectiveness. Excellent oral communication skills. Strong skills in managing time , prioritizing, organizing, researching and problem-solving. Ability to adhere to fixed deadlines with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities. Ability to manage and route multiple projects through a team of individuals, including the C-suite Ability to work with colleagues in a wide range of disciplines. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to proof and edit layouts to ensure that format, organization, alignment and spacing of copy and graphics are consistent and adhere to approved content and established standards. Must maintain a strong, consistent and professional demeanor at all times.
