Form of workSUMMARY OF JOB: A Home Care WOCN Visiting RN provides safe, holistic care to a population with multiple co-morbidities and advanced chronic illnesses as it relates to wound management. The WOCN coordinates care to patients with wounds, fistula, drains, ostomies and incontinence. The RN educates regarding self management and provides support to meet the needs of the patient, family, and community.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 1 year med-surg experience required; 1 year of home care experience preferred; BSN preferred; able to work weekend, holiday, and on-call hours; IV and venipuncture experience preferred; able to demonstrate professional competencies in a home care setting; able to efficiently utilize technology (cell phone, computer); able to travel in service area.
LICENSE AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS: Current State RN License, Valid Driver's License, Current CPR Certification, Graduate from an approved WOCN Program, Certificate in Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nursing preferred.
