Job Description:
Provide nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with standards of nursing practice and regulations and as directed by the Director of Nursing.
Responsibilities:- Perform all preventive care, dressing changes, and Wound Care
- Monitor turning and positioning of residents
- Monitor the treatment of decubitus ulcers with appropriate documentation and communication to physician and family
- Make rounds with physician, as needed to discuss the care of residents who are currently receiving treatment
- Assess weekly nutritional / hydration of residents with a stage I to IV uclers and evaluate and initiate additional nutritional intake
- Register Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with current state license
- Minimum of one to three years related nursing experience
- Must have a current/active certification
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
