Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking a PRN Wound Care Nurseto join our day shift team. The Wound Care Nurse establishes standards of care and clinical competencies to meet rehabilitative patient wound and ostomy care needs. Consults for complex wounds and ostomy patients and takes referrals from physicians and nurses according to the referral criteria of SAI and WOCN (Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse Certification) standards. Leads the development, coordination, and monitoring of the hospital's Wound Care program in order to improve clinical outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills
Required
- Minimum 2 years RN experience in the clinical setting
Education/Certifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- RN licensure in the Commonwealth of VA
- BSN in nursing preferred or evidence of pursing on a continuing basis
- AHA BLS HCP certification
- WOCN certification preferred
