Worship Leader

RiverCross Fellowship is a contemporary, non-denominational church in the New Castle area. We are a growing congregation with a passion for reaching our community for Christ. We are a church that exists to help people know and follow Jesus. As such, one of our greatest strengths is how we love one another and welcome anyone who sets foot on our property. We believe that the Bible is the true and living Word of God and, as such, has final authority over everything we do.

Duties:

- Lead worship in the Gathering and engage the congregation in meaningful worship experiences

- Select and arrange appropriate songs for each Gathering

- Coordinate with musicians and vocalists to ensure a cohesive and harmonious worship and tech team

- Provide guidance and direction during rehearsals to ensure a polished performance

- Mentor and develop musicians and vocalists, helping them grow in their skills and abilities

- Collaborate with the pastor and other church leaders to plan and execute worship services that align with the overall vision of the church

- Create an atmosphere of worship that encourages participation and engagement from the congregation

- Oversee the audiovisual aspects of worship, including sound, lighting, and projection

Experience:

- Preferred experience as a Worship Leader or similar role

- Strong musical abilities, including proficiency in playing an instrument and leading vocalists

- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with team members and congregation members

- Ability to educate and guide others in understanding the purpose and significance of worship

As a Worship Leader, you will have the opportunity to lead a congregation in meaningful contemporary worship experiences. Your role will involve selecting appropriate songs, coordinating with musicians and vocalists, mentoring team members, and collaborating with church leaders to create engaging worship services. We are looking for someone with strong musical abilities, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for guiding others in worship.
