We are a premier, accredited online language school seeking a dedicated WA state certified World Language Teacher to teach high school language courses using Microsoft Teams (video chat).
Most of our students are between the ages of 14-18 yrs. old and are taking language courses to fulfill their World Language requirement.
Our Curriculum is ACTFL-aligned, and we do NOT use a textbook to teach the language. Instead, we rely on ACTFL Can-Do Statements and real-world communication contexts to guide the lessons.

LanguageBird offers the following 15 World Languages: American Sign Language, Arabic, ESL, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.
Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate with the appropriate Language endorsement.
- Bachelor's degree in Language Education or a related field.
- Familiarity with Washington State language education standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in the target language (verbal and written) and fluency in English.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- 2 years of experience teaching either online or in a school setting are mandatory.
- Online teaching and comfortable with technology (share screen, create folders, uploading documents etc...)
This is a part-time position with the goal of teaching 15-25 hours per week.
