Workforce Planning Project Manager
Key Role:
Lead one or more consulting engagement modules to understand, analyze, develop and recommend Human Resource (HR) solutions. Lead workforce operations strategy in support of leadership to achieve strategic goals, serving as a primary point of contact for strategic workforce operations initiatives and guide to multiple cross-functional teams. Coordinate efforts to recruit and retain experts in health equity, commercialization, and response operations. Promote diversity, expand career development and mentorship opportunities for early- to mid-career scientific and public health professionals and leaders, and support the adoption of modern business, analytics, and communications tools to enhance efficiency in day-to-day workforce operations. Create vacancy packages, selection packages, hiring and compensation packages, Above the Minimum (ATM) requests, and Creditable Service for Annual Leave (CSAL) requests and providing details for employees acting in other roles in support of change requests. Advise on current and potential business trends, strategies, and insight that may affect the agency and industry and their compensation packages. Participate in the growth of the human capital and talent transformation capability through client engagements, branding and marketing activities, and development of intellectual capital.
Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience managing projects from conception to completion, including capturing key points and action items from meetings and briefing leadership and stakeholders
  • Experience with data management and tracking items including attention to metrics and milestones
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint
  • Knowledge of strategic human resources and Workforce Planning
  • Ability to learn quickly about new research areas, strategies, or methodologies pertaining to strategic workforce operations
  • Ability to influence and build working relationships
  • Public Trust
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Business Management

Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience working with scientific and U.S. government stakeholders
  • Experience preparing federal employment packaging and providing administrative support for federal personnel travel
  • Knowledge of public health and biopharmaceutical professions
  • Knowledge of Federal Human Resources
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification

Vetting:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,100.00 to $119,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
