Zurich is currently seeking a Workforce Development Program Lead to join our Talent Development team. This hybrid role with 1-2 days a week in the Schaumburg Headquarters and reports to the VP, Head of Workforce Development.

The Workforce Development Program Lead will be responsible for collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders to co-create and execute on Zurich's upskilling and reskilling strategy. In addition to ensuring access to ongoing opportunities to learn, this role would oversee key ZNA Development Programs and career development initiatives aimed at enabling employees to pursue varied career paths.
The individual in this role will own analyzing, designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating learning and performance improvement solutions to close performance gaps. They will partner with other areas in designing and delivering learning and performance solutions to contribute to the implementation of the Learning & Development framework.
Essential Job Functions:
- Contributes on Zurich North America's upskilling and reskilling strategy; advances learning strategies through development of the learning approach, leveraging appropriate learning technologies and modalities
- Partners across Zurich to ensure we have sustainable mechanism in place to reskill and upskill employees; leverages data to inform key audience selection and develop an understanding of needs in terms of competencies
- Owns one or more elements of designing, developing, and evaluating complex learning solutions targeted at addressing critical business needs
- Delivers portions or entire solutions of complex nature to senior managers and advanced specialists
- Responsible for the design and development of learning solutions and is accountable for aligning the design and output to the target audience, the business objectives to be achieved, knowledge, skills, attitudes to be gained, method & levels of evaluation to be used and behaviors to target
- Works collaboratively across various functions (business and HR) to maximize alignment from idea generation to solution development
- Contributes to a value proposition and respective implementation plan for each upskilling/reskilling initiative
- Leverages design thinking, learning needs analysis expertise, and other innovative approaches to deeply understand the business and development needs and ensure a pre-eminent learner experience
- Articulates the measurement strategy to measure the impact of learning strategy and talent Development Programs. Ensure continual improvement mechanisms are in place to continually raise the bar on talent Development Programs
- Provides oversight and supports continuous improvement of specialized programs targeting employee development
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree and 8 or more years of experience in the Organizational Development area
OR - High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10 or more years of experience in the Organizational Development area
AND - 8 or more years of experience consulting with business partners or clients, or in project management
- Experience in learning and development/education, performance consulting or human performance
- Experience in coaching human resources and business leaders on learning and development initiatives
- Experience implementing an e-Learning strategy and systems
- Experience with vendor management
Preferred Qualifications
- Instructional design experience using tools such as: Camtasia, Articulate 360, and Vyond
- Experience with the Udemy, Coursera, and LinkedIn Learning platforms
- Strong project management skills
- Strong consulting, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Advanced experience in learning design/development/delivery/evaluation
- Advanced occupational crosswalking and skill and competency mapping
- Experience analyzing labor market data
- Advanced skill gap analysis
- Analysis of community indicators and labor force migration patterns
- Experience facilitating industry and business-wide skills future of work focus groups
- Advanced experience data gathering, analysis and visualization
- Education and workforce analysis
- Knowledge of Adult Learning: Theory and Practice
- CPTD Certified Professional Talent Development certificate
