CLASSIFICATION:Non-exempt
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demonstrate proficiency in core woodworking skills, including joinery, cutting, and finishing techniques.
- Possess a strong understanding of woodworking materials and hardware.
- Be comfortable operating various woodworking machinery, including saws, sanders, and routers, with precision and safety.
- Have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to impeccable craftsmanship.
- Be a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment while also demonstrating initiative and self-reliance.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities effectively.
- Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly convey information to colleagues.
- Maintain a strong commitment to safety protocols and contribute to a safe work environment.
- Be able to stand for prolonged periods and lift objects weighing 50 lbs. or more.
- Pass a basic drug and physical exam, as well as a background check.
- Other duties as assigned.
Woodworker I Skills and Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in woodworking, cabinetmaking, or a related field.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics
- Strong High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
