Woods Coffee Warehouse in Lynden is hiring for non-CDL Delivery Driver positions.

Brief Description

The Delivery Driver and warehouse position is one of the most critical jobs on our team. It is the Delivery Driver's responsibility to get all products to all stores locations every single night. Without these nightly deliveries, our stores could not serve our guests. This position is responsible for maintaining the warehouse, packing orders, loading trucks, driving, and delivering products. It's important to have attention to detail, awareness of surroundings, maintain a great attitude and be comfortable driving large trucks and working alone.

3/28/24 - We are currently hiring a flexible position- 4 days per week with opportunities for more shifts. The ideal candidate would be interested in working 2 days as a driver (evening shifts) and 2 days in our Warehouse packing deliveries (day shifts). This position can be scheduled 4 consecutive days on, and 3 consecutive days off. Evening shifts start at 5pm. Length of shift varies between 7 and 10.5 hours depending on route. Routes are scheduled and known in advance.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks with coffee, bakery racks, milk, pallets, etc.
• Driving non-CDL straight trucks “Box Trucks”
• Deliver milk, coffee, bakery, pallets, etc.
• Communicating nightly and providing feedback to the Distribution Manager
• Keep trucks and work areas clean and organized
• Preform daily pre-trip truck inspections

Required Permits & Documents

• Valid driver's license
• Forklift certification (optional)

Essential Job Functions

• Repeated heavy lifting. Must be able to lift 50lb above head.
• Constantly standing, walking, stooping, bending, squatting.
• Constantly using hands, wrists and arms, sometimes in a repetitive manner.
• Pushing and pulling, picking up, and lifting products.
• Regular in person attendance.

Pay

Wages start at $21-22/ hour based on experience.
