Woodfield Crisis Response Specialists are part of a Crisis Response Team that monitors youth movement and progress and responds immediately for support in crisis situations. Crisis Response Staff are required to complete a specialized internal training on emergency response interventions and procedures led by the Director of Safety and Security.
Position Qualifications:
A Bachelors Degree OR A high School diploma or GED equivalency is required and minimum of five years experience working with youth. Detention or Security Experience Preferred. Demonstrates strong de-escalation skills and a trauma informed approach. Has demonstrated an understanding of The Children's Village Values as presented in pre-employment training. Ability to put into practice all techniques Safe Crisis Management (as taught in pre-employment training) and demonstrated respect for client's rights and safety. Ability to demonstrate counseling techniques.
Salary: $54,053.70
