Job Description
The Womens Lacrosse Assistant Coach aids in the growth and development
of the womens lacrosse program and its student-athletes by assisting
with the planning and direction of team activities. The primary duty of
the Women's Lacrosse Assistant Coach is instructing student-athletes in
the skills and strategies unique to competition in the sport.
Required Qualifications
*Bachelors degree
Preferred Qualifications
*Successful background as a lacrosse/field hockey player and/or
coach at the NCAA Division I, II, or III level; *Thorough
knowledge of the sport; *Strong communication and organizational
skills; *Knowledge of NCAA and South Atlantic Conference rules
and regulations; *CPR certified.

Oversee and organize all travel associated with field hockey and women s lacrosse;
Job Duty
Oversee and organize academic meetings with student athletes from both programs;
Job Duty
Regularly communicate with the Director of Women s Lacrosse & Field Hockey;
Job Duty
Delegate necessary tasks to the Women s Lacrosse Graduate Assistant;
Job Duty
Organize and be willing to run women s lacrosse practices during the off season;
Job Duty
Assist in organizing recruit visits for both programs;
Job Duty
Assist in developing game strategies for women s lacrosse;
Job Duty
Assist in managing the budget for both programs;
Job Duty
Assist in ordering the equipment needs for both programs;
Job Duty
Develop and implement a fundraising strategy for both programs;
Job Duty
Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students and tothe community at large;
Job Duty
Engage in instruction of sport skills and strategies to develop student-athletes athletically;
Job Duty
Conduct/oversee student-athlete progress evaluation, individual workouts, and study hall;
Job Duty
Participate in the recruitment of student-athletes;
Job Duty
Assist the Head Coach in the overall operations of the program;
Job Duty
Oversee student-athletes while in the weight room and assist with maintaining the upkeep of the weight room;
Job Duty
Develop and coordinate the academic success program for student-athletes in need of academic assistance;
Job Duty
Participate in efforts to collect, analyze and report data for the athletic department as part of the University's planning, assessment and evaluation processes for institutional effectiveness;
Job Duty
Assist in the production of outcomes assessment and long range planning for theathletic department;
Job Duty
Assist with the completion of required institutional and program accreditation reports and other reports necessary for the operation and advancement of the University;
Job Duty
Teach up to six (6) credit hours of appropriate University and/or J. Frank White Academy courses, the equivalent thereof;
Job Duty
Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and the Athletic Director.
