Wolof Freelance Interpreter

Learning Alliance is an agency for interpreting and translation in Queens NY. Currently looking for experienced freelance on-site Wolof interpreter.

Requirements:

• Assignment for school in Manhattan so need to travel
• Freelance position for Wolof interpreter
• Authorized to work in USA

Job Responsibility:

• Provide interpretation services in school for exams to facilitate communication to the students
• Interpret or translate written text to the students from English to Wolof
• Ensure accurate and complete interpretation by maintaining confidentiality and impartiality

Experience:

Interpretation/Translation 1 year (Preferred)

Skills:

· Fluent in English and Wolof language

· Ability to interpret and translate accurately and efficiently

· Strong communication skills to convey messages clearly and effectively

· Attention to detail to ensure accurate interpretation and translation of complex information

· Ability to adapt quickly to different subject matters and contexts

Job Type:

· Contract 1099

· Salary: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

· On call/Need basis

· Ability to Commute: Manhattan, NY (Required)

· Willingness to travel: 100% (Preferred)

· Work Location: In person
