Provides acute and inpatient care for wound care patients. Provides direct care to patients with abdominal stomas, wounds, fistulas, drains, pressure ulcers, and incontinence problems. In collaboration with the multidisciplinary cancer team, coordinates discharge needs of patients and families. The WOCN also functions as a consultant/educator developing patient and staff educational programs and materials and developing/revising policies and procedures related to wound care, ostomy care, and continence care. This position must adhere to the ANA Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses.
Education
Bachelors Degree : Nursing (Required)
Other : Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required)
Doctorate of Nursing Practice (Preferred)
Masters Degree : Nursing (Preferred)
Experience
3 Years experience in a clinical wound, ostomy, continence role (Required)
License/Certifications
RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License (Required)
CWOCN - Cert Wound Ostomy Cont Nurse (Required) or CWON - Cert Wound Ostomy Nurse (Required)
Full Time Day Shift (36 Hour Flex)
