The 3rd Shift Supervisor role is to ensure that all of production is operating safely and productively during normal operational hours. Maintain a clean working environment with quality throughput. Must have past supervisory experience in narrow web flexographic printing industry. Label experience a preferred. Ability to run press when needed.
- Confirm all job signoffs (beginning and end) are done accurately.
- Initiate conversation with all press operators prior to shift start about what they feel will get done during their shift.
- Help troubleshoot any machine/press operator issues.
- Accurately monitor the throughput your shift is producing (daily).
- Initiate conversation as to how you feel your shift is operating and what is needed to better your shift.
- Work in conjunction with off shifts to ensure that daily die usage sheets, daily production sheets, beginning of job, and end of job signoffs are done in excellent.
- Daily review Paycor Timecards
- Conduct and document training of all employees
- Conduct performance reviews, of all employees under supervision, according to company SOP
- Ensure all operational areas are kept organized and clean, during shift.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or some equivalent
- 18 years or older
- Eligible to work in the United States
Preferred Skills
- Mark Andy multi-color press experience – a must
- 3 + years’ Experience in narrow web printing industry
- Mechanical Skills
- Punctual and Reliable
Additional Notes
- Able to bend and twist. Able to lift up to 40lbs. Able to be on your feet all day. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Overtime will be required based on production requirements.
