Supplier will provide services to Client or Client client as defined below on a flat rate This position will report to the Client Network Services Director of Planning, Design, and Pricing and will be responsible for a variety of activities and strategic efforts within the Network Wireless Engineering arena.
The primary role will be to provide strategic and architectural direction with respect to Project Engineering for the Disney Wireless Data Network, Remote Access DMZs, NAC, and other segments.
The candidate will interact with the customer and vendors to gather requirements, solutions to meet emerging business needs.
The candidate will be responsible for documenting those requirements and working with the teams (customer, vendors, and internal engineers) to design, develop and oversee implementations that meet the customers requirements and maximize availability of those systems.
This candidate must bring a passion for Wireless Networking strategy along with the ability to set corporate direction for a multi layered business organization.
Network design, integration and operation experience - 10+ years
Knowledge of IOS, IOS-XR, IOS-XE, NX-OS, JunOS, F5 * Knowledge of networking routing protocols; BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, EIGRP * Knowledge of MPLS, VPN, QOS, MultiCast, Spanning-Tree, Fabric Path
Knowledge of Cisco wireless controller solutions; CAPWAP, FLEXConnect
Knowledge of Aruba Mobility controller solutions; Remote AP, IAP
Knowledge of Wireless management platforms; Cisco Prime, Aruba Airwave
Knowledge of Aruba Clearpass network access platform
Very high analytical skills and an understanding of complex data
Network/Availability Management Systems knowledge
Ability to analyze, design and collaborate multiple layer protection architectures
Research, recommend, and oversee implementation of new technology products
Understanding of network monitoring and management protocols (ie. SNMP, NetFlow, etc)
Experience with incident response, case handling, and mitigation planning.
College degree from accredited university (Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science preferred).
Technical certification in Computer Science, related telecommunications field and experience is also acceptable.
Cisco certification is CCNP Wireless required, Aruba and Clearpass certifications are highly desired. Other related experience would be considered.
