Wire EDM Operators- 3rd Shift

Nesco Resource is looking for 3 ^rd Shift Operators for a Wire EDM & Grinding department in Bethel, CT. This is a temp-to-hire position for the right candidate. Willing to train candidates with previous machine operator experience.
Schedule: Sunday- Thursday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a paid lunch break
Pay: $21.00- $24.00/hour depending on experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work in conjunction with Logistics on prioritizing work orders.
• Use a computer for entering work orders and work order maintenance as required.
• Possess good judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Keep accurate and legible production records.
• Demonstrate good housekeeping skills.
• Adhere to and enforce safety guidelines.
• Must be willing to work overtime when the need arises.
• Ability or capability to learn operate micrometers and other inspection equipment.
• Be aware of department quality goals and workmanship.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous EDM experience preferred
• Must have previous machine operator experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Basic computer skills
• High school diploma, or equivalent
• Technical school or college degree, preferred but not required
• Fluent English
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret procedure/safety manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers.
• Must be reliable and responsible
