As a Wine & Spirits Sales Representative (Sales Rep) for L&F Distributors, you will independently manage a territory of pre-established accounts, building relationships through face-to-face interactions with your customers, as well as promoting a vast portfolio of Wine & Spirits brands. Ultimately, your responsibility will be to maximize L&F Distributor's exposure to the shopper through impactful placements in your accounts. Through effective sales training and on-the-job experience, you will learn to be a successful, consultative salesperson.
What You Need
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Experience working in a retail sales environment
- Good communication, problem solving, and time management skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pound cases of product
- No more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years and no DUI/DWI convictions within the past 5 years
•Call on pre-established On & Off Premise independent & chain accounts in your assigned territory.
•Be the master of your own schedule, prioritizing time spent visiting accounts in order to meet and exceed monthly sales & placement goals.
•Build and enhance relationships with decision-makers through consistency, reliability, and leveraging fact based data, with the goal of gaining incremental sales.
•Create customized sales presentations to inform and persuade decision-makers on the benefits of doing business with L&F Distributors.
•On a monthly basis identify opportunities and locations to cross-merchandise within your accounts, both Wine or Spirits outside of the those assigned departments.
•Solve & anticipate customer needs, keep accounts informed of ongoing market trends and identify impactful opportunities of selling display ideas, new products, cold box placements, warm shelf placements, well & back bar placements, liquor and wine menus, bar & restaurant promotions and any account product resets. Knowledge of current inventory and upcoming transfers is pivotal to the role.
