Wine and Spirits Salesperson

We are an upscale Wine and liquor store looking for a full time sales associate. The ideal candidate will be able to help walk-in customers select wines and Spirits and process orders on the phone and on the computer. This is a key holder role so applicants should be comfortable with the responsibility of opening/closing the store from time to time. Applicants should have a good working knowledge of wines and Spirits, enjoy engaging with customers and capable of working in a fast-paced, team environment.

Job Responsibilites

• Assist walk-in customers in selecting appropriate wines and Spirits.
• Manage retails tasks such as deliveries, in-store tastings, events, etc.
• Ensure retail space is appropriately stocked, clean and well maintained.
• Check in and organize merchandise deliveries from suppliers.

Requirements

We are looking for people with the following:

• Moderate to advanced level of wine & spirits knowledge
• Comfortable speaking with customers in person and on the phone
• Able to work on your feet
• Available to work weekends and holidays (rotating)
• Detail-oriented and dependable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
