Jr. Windows System Administrator
Junior Windows Systems Administrator. This technical position requires the performance of complex technical and administrative functions to ensure the availability of the Supreme Court's Administrative Office of the Courts Windows Enterprise to the Arizona Judicial Information Network (AJIN).
Hybrid work schedule is open for discussion. Initially in office preferred to start.
3-month contract to hire if satisfactory performance.
Interviews will be conducted virtually.

The Arizona Supreme Court Information Technology Division is seeking a Junior Windows Systems Administrator. This technical position requires the performance of complex technical and administrative functions to ensure the availability of the Supreme Court's Administrative Office of the Courts Windows Enterprise to the Arizona Judicial Information Network (AJIN).
Essential functions include:
- Consults with customers on windows services to support their business needs.
- Monitoring and maintenance of VMWare systems and servers
- Acts in a leading role to troubleshoot and resolve system related problems.
- Assist with the coordinating, managing, monitoring and scheduling of all updates of Antivirus and Malware software deployments.
- Assist with the coordinating, managing, scheduling and monitoring of all supported Client developed applications across the AJIN computing enterprise.
- Ensures windows enterprise resources are available to the user community as stated in their service level agreement.
- With minimal guidance, works with Sr. Windows Admins. with the installation, configuration and deployment of new system hardware.
- Provides system support in maintaining performance criteria for the Windows systems, using standard data collection methods to ensure criteria are being met.
- Provides system support, including maintaining system-level security and configuration standards.
- Creates documentation and installation instructions for third party server applications.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- The successful candidate should have a bachelor's degree and 4 to 5 years' experience, working in the computer industry or a related field. Directly related experience may substitute for the degree requirement to analyze business problems and develop appropriate functional and technical solution specifications.
- Working knowledge of computer networking technology, experience in system development, implementation and project management methodologies, and a solid understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts.
- This position also requires a strong working knowledge of hardware and software installation and configuration practices, and strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve problems quickly and completely.
- The preferred candidate will have experience in more than one of Windows Server specialties (SQL Server, IIS, Systems Center Config Mgr/Operations Manager, Microsoft online Services, etc.)
