Title:Windows Systems Engineer
Location: Tampa, FL
Description:
We are seeking a TS/SCI cleared Windows Systems Engineer, located onsite in Tampa, FL to be responsible for maintaining mission essential systems while providing direct support to end users in an operational environment.
- Design and architect highly complex Windows infrastructure environments encompassing on-premises, hybrid, and cloud platforms
- Provide strategic vision and technical oversight for enterprise-grade Windows domain architectures, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies etc.
- Lead highly complex migrations of legacy infrastructures to modern Windows Server platforms leveraging automation
- Maintain high availability and performance tuning of business-critical Windows workloads across scale-out datacenter footprints
- Define and evolve technical standards and governance policies for Windows Server and Active Directory administrations
- Mentor junior administrators and engineers on technical capabilities and best practices
- Proficient with storage systems (VAST, Pure, Dell Data Domain) for backups.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience architecting, implementing, supporting large Windows infrastructures
- Expert-level knowledge of core Windows Server services - AD DS, DNS, DHCP, GP, IIS, etc.
- Demonstrated experience with Windows PowerShell automation and Desired State Configuration
- Strong understanding of Windows infrastructure monitoring, logging, alerting and performance troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of VMware vSphere and vCenter administration, Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage etc.
- Experience with systems management tools like SCCM, Group Policy, PowerShell DSC
- Strong communication skills, leadership qualities, with an innovative mindset
