Brave Maggie Designs, located in Franklin, TN, specializes in custom window treatments and soft furnishings. Catering to high-end interior designers and luxury clients, we offer bespoke soft furnishings, along with meticulous project coordination and implementation. Currently, we are seeking to expand our team with a Part-Time Window Covering Design Coordinator. This position will serve as the primary support role and will directly report to the owner.
Responsibilities:
1. Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance, including managing emails, scheduling appointments, and maintaining client records.
2. Client Interaction: Assist in client communications, addressing inquiries, conducting initial phone screens, and maintaining a positive client experience.
3. Fabric Coordination/Showroom Assistance: Organize and maintain fabric and material samples, ensuring a well-organized sample library for consultations. Willingness to drive to meet with interior designers to pick up fabric or drop off items related to their projects.
4. Vendor/Contractor relations: Support the ordering process by liaising with suppliers, tracking orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. Inspecting and checking in materials when arrived. Regularly follow up with vendors and contractors and help to maintain positive relationships.
5. Documentation: Prepare accurate documentation related to client projects, including quotes, invoices, design boards and project timelines. Will also manage photos and other documentation related to social media and other marketing materials.
6. Installation and Measuring Support: Assist in coordinating and preparing for window treatment installations, ensuring all necessary materials are checked in. May attend and assist during client measuring appointments/ consults ensuring accurate specifications for window treatments.
7. Design Assistance: Assist in the design process such as selecting materials, ordering samples, managing inspiration/Pinterest boards for clients etc.
8.Research and Trends: Stay informed about industry trends, products, and suppliers to contribute to informed decision-making.
9. Client Education: Assist in educating clients about basic care, maintenance, and operation of window treatments.
10. Learning and Development: Continuously learn about window treatment products, installation techniques, and industry best practices to enhance skills. Be willing to attend training sessions both in person and online.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Communication skills. Able to interact in a highly professional manner with high end designers and luxury clientele.
- Previous experience or education in either custom window treatments or interior design
- Must be extremely self motivated and organized.
- Able to maintain detailed records.
- Can read a measuring tape to the 16th
- Technologically Savvy: Google Drive, Microsoft Office, Social Media, Honeybook
- Must be willing to drive throughout the Nashville Metro area for various appointments and materials coordination.
- Service and support oriented. This role will function as the main support role and will report directly to the owner.
This role can not guarantee number of hours per week. Estimating between 10-20 hours per week to start with a possibility of moving into a full time role. Exact hours are flexible.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.75 - $23.79 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
