The WIC Peer Counseloris a paraprofessional support person who gives basic breastfeeding information and encouragement to WIC pregnant and breastfeeding mothers. This position is full-time Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. Offerring a comprehensive benefits packages. This position will be located out of two locations our WIC Decatur office and our WIC MLK office. 


Requirements of the position: 

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Has successfully breastfed at least one baby.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required.
