Doswell Operating Group is searching for a Help Desk Administrator to join our Technical Services team! The Help Desk Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, resolving technical issues, and delivering exceptional customer service to internal users. The Help Desk Administrator completes a broad array of tasks in any given time period including standard helpdesk-related duties and occasional field work.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide first level support to end-users, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems and properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support.
  • Track, route, and redirect problems to the correct resources.
  • Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance on hardware components, such as desktops, laptops, tablets, and cell phones.
  • Follow up with users, provide feedback, and see problems through to resolution.
  • Ensure proper recording, documentation, and closure of tech tickets.
Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science or similar field of study is required.
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ or equivalent certification is preferred, but not required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.  This position will have to travel to multiple locations in the Richmond area.
