POSITION SUMMARY:
Workforce Go! is currently hiring a General Ledger Implementation Specialist to leverage our top-ranked training programs and world class service guidelines to create exceptional onboarding experiences for each product or service implementation of our Workforce Go! solutions. A successful candidate will consultant with our client’s accounting staff or designated contact(s) to understand their needs on their reporting, confirm the requisite date needed and develop instructions for our programming team to create General Ledger files/reports between Workforce Go! solutions and the clients accounting solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Understand Workforce Go! implementation methodology and follow through on all engagements
- Assist clients in completing discovery documentation necessary to code general ledger projects
- Consult with high level accounting staff to ensure a successful general ledger set-up
- Learn about the client's general ledger needs, ensure that the rules that are developed are complete and comprehensive, write engineer instructions for the general ledger programming, and advise on Payroll or general ledger structure changes needed to satisfy the accounting goals with internal and/or external partners.
- Gather information necessary to create an interface file (if required)
- Assist both the consulting team and client in general ledger setup and testing
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRE:
- Education: Associates degree or equivalent work experience
- Accounting skills: Experience in Accounting, specifically experience with payroll journal entries is required. Analyst must be comfortable talking to Accountants about accounting structures and rules specific to each company
- Consulting skills: Some experience in interpreting the needs of a customer, possibly helping develop new solutions, and describing them to programmers is expected
- Payroll skills: Experience with payroll and payroll accounting is required for this position
- Customer Service or Account Management Skills: Experience in a front-line customer role.
- Business Analyst skills: Translating and consulting client needs to an internal system and partners for desired solution
- Exceptional Communication skills: Understand and communicate effectively with others using a variety of contexts and formats, which include writing, speaking, reading listening and interpersonal skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work in an office environment; sustained posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time; use hands to grasp and reach; occasionally stoop or kneel; see, hear, and speak with sufficient acuity to successfully perform all aspects of the job; use telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means; lift up to five pounds of weight.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
