WESTERN ELITE OUTSIDE SALES
Looking for an exciting opportunity to grow within sales? Look no further than Western Elite, where we are currently seeking driven and ambitious individuals to join our sales team in Outside Sales.
Job Overview: Job Overview
Outside Sales Representatives are responsible for increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients. Duties may include identifying prospective customers, following up on potential sales leads, representing Western Elite on Community Committees, and being an effective account manager to existing customers.
 
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Grow new business through prospecting, cold-calling, networking and referrals.
  • Manage the complete sales process including quoting, closing, sending contracts for e-signature, and processing payments.
  • Nurture existing business relationships with vendors and customers to maximize profit margins.
  • Show a continual increase in revenues and maximize profitability.
  • Negotiate and secure dumpster rental delivery appointments with clients and vendors.
  • Maintain continuous communication with vendors and customers to ensure a high-quality dumpster rental experience.
  • Ensure that dumpsters are delivered, picked up, and hauled to the landfill on time to meet and/or exceed the client’s expectations.
  • Communicate any delivery changes, delays, concerns, or other issues, as necessary, to all parties involved.
  • Schedule dumpster rental delivery and pickup appointment times; must have insight into all factors affecting timeframe (weather, traffic, miles, service rules, etc.).
  • Maintain and update accurate information in the company’s software.
  • Completes consistently scheduled phone blocks and cold call prospecting activities to establish initial and follow-up appointments with decision-makers.
  • Develops and maintains an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends in designated markets to anticipate changing customer needs.
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of the Company’s available services, lines of business, and pricing structures; offers additional services to existing and potential commercial, industrial and recycling clients, including total waste stream management solutions, as appropriate, to grow targeted profitable revenue and contribute to Company goals and objectives.
  • Completes required Customer Service Agreements, reports and other paperwork in a timely manner and in accordance with Company policy.
  • Regularly meets with Sales Manager to review weekly customer retention and relationship activities, progress versus goals and status of key customer relationships.
  • Builds relationships and increases Company visibility through participation in Company-sponsored activities as required; attends trade shows, chamber of commerce events and other events, as necessary. Acts as a Company representative at community events, where required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years relevant sales experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of direct selling experience in a customer-facing role that includes identifying and addressing customer needs. 
  • Valid driver’s license.
