**This position is onsite at our Orofino/Cottonwood, ID area**
*Must be local or willing to relocate.
Position Summary:
Manages Information Services support team located at the St Mary's & Clearwater Valley site (SMCVH). Manages IT Projects associated with SMCVH and provides regular status updates. Works cross functional with peers on the IT Leadership to ensure technology strategies are aligned.
Responsibilities:

  • Provides leadership and day-to-day management of Information Technology staff located at SMCVH that support clinical and business operations
  • Provides direction, feedback and coaching, as well as formal feedback to staff during routine one-on-one meetings and the annual performance management cycle
  • Mentors and develops other team members through coaching and influence rather than through direct supervision
  • Builds annual goals for staff members, monitors performance against those goals, including action plans
  • Maintains relationships with key business partners and other senior leaders, as well as key contacts in the health care IT industry in order to leverage best practices, and to evaluate and manage emerging technologies
  • Responsible for working with key stakeholders including executives, senior leaders, and a variety of customers to identify, oversee, and deliver technical solutions and clinical outcomes
  • Manages projects and IT Tasks for SMCVH
  • Provides regular status updates and communication of issues, including escalations
  • Manages customer expectations regarding the success of IT strategies and Projects; ensures measurable outcomes are defined and reported for each strategy or project
  • Monitors and manages work assignments for an identified group of analysts; organizes and prioritizes tasks, tickets and deliverables
  • Troubleshoots, identifies root cause, and documents problems of high complexity for assigned technologies, and systems
  • Leads Incident Management and Problem Management efforts
  • Maintains and develops customer relationships in order meet organizational needs
  • Collaborates with members the Kootenai Health IT Leadership Team
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned

Requirements and Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services, Nursing or Healthcare Administration, or an equivalent combination of education, skills and relevant experience is required
  • Minimum 7 years related experience required, including at least 3 years' Information Services leadership experience
  • Experience functioning as a Project Manager on Technology Projects
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within Information Technology and Healthcare
