WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
- Supports the philosophy, mission, commitment, vision and values of Randall Residence.
- Directly oversee the delivery of care to Assisted Living residents to ensure that emotional, physical, psychological and safety needs are met through all program services and activities.
- Assesses and documents the resident's condition and nursing needs.
- Accurately and promptly implements physicians' orders.
- Administer medications, perform treatments for assigned residents, and documents that treatment as required by Randall Residence, and local, state and federal rules and regulations.
- Participates in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
- Assist physicians with special tests and procedures within the scope of state specified Nursing Practice Act.
- Ensures that supplies are utilized economically and that equipment is clean and maintained in a safe manner.
- Reports and records pertinent observations and reactions regarding Community Members.
- Coordinates nursing care of Community Members when scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments.
- All other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess a current and active license to practice as an LPN or Registered Nurse in IL
- Minimum of 1 year experience in nursing management
- Experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, etc
- Must possess critical thinking skills to address clinical issues
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- At least two years experience in long-term care facility
