Wellness Director

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the wellness program for residents in a senior living community
- Develop and implement care plans to meet the individual needs of residents
- Review and update documentation related to resident care, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals, including hospice providers, to ensure comprehensive care for residents
- Supervise and train staff members in providing quality care and following established protocols
- Advocate for resident rights and ensure their well-being is prioritized
- Collaborate with other departments to create a holistic approach to resident wellness
- Manage shift schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels for optimal resident care
- Implement systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the wellness program

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., nursing, social work, healthcare administration)
- Experience in managing wellness programs in a senior living or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of Medicare regulations and guidelines for home health and hospice care
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff members
- Detail-oriented with the ability to review documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Understanding of resident rights and commitment to upholding their dignity and autonomy
