The ideal candidate is a CNA or long-term, experienced caregiver familiar with assisted living regulations. Experience working with those with memory care needs is a definite plus.
Responsibilities Include:
- Maintaining staff schedules under the supervision of the Director of Wellness
- Coordinating coverage for call-outs and monitoring overtime rates
- Assisting with move ins, making residents feel at home
- Training new personal care specialists (caregivers) and assisting with orientation
- Monitors resident personal care supplies and notifies families when more are needed
- Measures weights and vital signs of residents
- Assists with coverage for staff call-outs
- Helps maintain patient charts, orders, and service plans
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- CNA license preferred
- 2-3 years working in a residential, geriatric setting preferred
- Ability to use Word/Excel and communicate effectively in English
