qualifications
Be at least 21 years of age and exhibit the capacity to respond to the needs of the residents and manage the complexity of the CBRF
- A minimum of two (2) years management experience working in a health care related field

TYPICAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 30 pounds. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular.
C. RESPONSIBILITIES
To ensure that the residents receive proper care and treatment, that their health and safety are protected and promoted and that their rights are respected
Compliance
- Ensure full and timely compliance of all DHS.83, State regulations to ensure care and supervision
- Attends meetings and in-services as scheduled or assigned
- Exercise leadership by demonstrating integrity and professional knowledge
- Maintain efficiencies to meet budget objectives
- On-call responsibilities: In rotation with other management staff
Resident care and services
- Coordinates Individualized Service Plan, reviews with families, and ancillary staff
- Monitors and orders residents’ medication
- Maintains contact with individual physicians as to resident’s medical status
- Assist with coordinating resident admissions through communications with physicians, pharmacists and other health care professionals as directed
- Schedules resident medical and dental appointments and arranges transportation
- Maintain contact with family or designated others regarding resident care, needs, and changes of condition
Physical Plant
- Ensure physical plant is maintained in accordance with DHS 83
Marketing
- Answers walk in and telephone contacts and inquiries regarding possible placement
- Conducts tours as assigned

SUPERVISION:
This position reports directly to the Director.
- ensure completion of the hiring process, working with human resources
- ensures orientation and welcoming process occurs for all new employees and residents
- always ensures compliance with resident’s rights and HIPPA policies
- establishes and maintains positive, respectful, and supportive environment for all residents, staff, families, and community guests
- ensures proper training for medication techs and monitors those medication processes
- collaborates with the residents to coordinate health services with physicians, therapy providers, pharmacies, and other agencies to ensure optimal care
- ensure full and timely compliance of all DHS.83 State Regulations to ensure care and supervision
- participate in employee related investigations and reporting in the DHS.83 required time frame
- enforce policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook
- assist with unemployment concerns as they arise
- address employee questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- facilitate employee engagement across multiple platforms
- maintain employee retention by addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner
- comply with state and federal labor laws, as well as the standards of assisted living regulations
- maintain and manage personnel rules, practices, policies, and procedures and be able to hold employee accountable

- full-time, working as specified shift Med Passer with option to have 4 office days per month at discretion of director and facility needs
- eligible for health, dental, and life insurance on the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment
