ConocoPhillips is a leading oil and gas company, which is hiring Well Injection Engineer's for contract positions. The Well Injection Engineer designs and implement completion and monitoring systems for CCS wells, including selecting and placing equipment and ensuring the integrity of the completion.
Key Accountabilities
- Design and implement completion and monitoring systems for CCS wells, including selecting and placing equipment and ensuring the integrity of the completion.
- Design perforating strategy for the different injection zones. Both perforation spf, phasing, etc, as well as balance of over/under balanced for sand control risks.
- Design and perform stimulation techniques such as acidizing.
- Evaluate and select injectivity test companies and tools.
- Evaluate and select pressure communication monitoring tools.
- Developing and implementing water injectivity testing plans, procedures, and standards to ensure the quality of data collected during the test.
- Monitoring progress, recording all test results, implanting final field testing and acceptance of equipment. Compilation of all documentation.
- Co-ordinating testing and commissioning activities and providing advice on testing.
Required and Preferred Skills and Experience
- Senior level, typically 7-10 years of experience.
- Understands advanced aspects of discipline and is viewed as an expert in a given field.
- Applies broad range of competencies to develop solutions to complex problems.
- Influences others to achieve objectives.
- Often provides specialized/technical/functional guidance to others within department and/or business asset
