Kapco Inc. is looking for Welding Lead Person for the 2nd Shift at our Grafton, WI location. The ideal candidate for this position would be able to do the following

• Oversees the welding operations of our 2nd Shift
• Reviews work orders, stage and assigns jobs to appropriate personnel
• Works with the Supervisor and Planner to review the schedule to establish a plan for the shift
• Does first piece inspection for the shift, reviews any rework daily with Quality and Supervisor
• Locates sub-components
• Verifies that production rates are met
• Runs production as time allowed
• Maintains welding supplies and orders when needed
• Maintains weld fixtures, adjusts weld fixtures to print specifications and returns tooling to the proper location
• Follows shipping reports and demands
• Promotes department 5S
• Assists Robotic Technicians/Weld support staff
• Other duties as assigned

We are seeking 3 to 5 years of experience in welding operations and knowledge of robotic cells to make adjustments and troubleshoot problems and/or errors with the machines
