This position supports the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), Director of Operational Logistics, Base Miami Beach Naval Engineering Department, Industrial Production Facility, Miami, FL. 

Qualifications:

Applicants will be evaluated on their ability to perform the duties of the position rather than the length of experience. Eligibility will be determined by the relevance, scope, and quality of all experience and training, regardless of where or how acquired.
Applicants will be rated and ranked based on their knowledge of the following job elements:

• Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision (Screen-out Element).
• Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic).
• Use of measuring instructions.
• Ability to interpret instructions, specifications, etc. (including blueprint reading).
• Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of Metals.
• Dexterity and Safey.
