PDQ Skilled Trades has a dynamic client located in Richland Hills, TX.
If you're passionate about precision welding and want to contribute to custom structural steel projects for concrete Highway ventures, this is the job for you!
Position: 1st shift - Welder
Shift:
- 1st shift, Monday-Friday: 5:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Must be available for mandatory OT)
- Some Saturdays: 5:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Pay:
- Pay Range: $17.50 to $21.50 per hour (Depending on weld test scores)
Responsibilities:
- Pass a welding test, showcasing skills in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
- Perform welding using various materials such as .035 solid wire, .045 flux core wire, 7018, and 6011 rods.
- Utilize hand cutting torches and hand grinders with precision.
- Read a tape measure with accuracy to 1/32".
- Execute minimal assembly tasks under supervision.
- Willingness to perform other production-related duties as assigned.
