This position performs operations necessary to assemble, fit, weld, and test complete assemblies to comply with ASME code requirements for gas and refrigerant process piping. The finished product must meet or exceed customer specifications and production quality standards.
Requires ability to work from complete assembly drawings, use a variety of hand and power tools and a broad knowledge of welding, torch cutting, cutting, and fitting pipe. Experience of up to five years is necessary to become familiar with products, methods, processes, etc. and to become proficient.
Welding will be subject to CWI inspection and hydrostatic and pneumatic testing.
Must have experience welding with the following processes:
FCAW (flux-core)
Special consideration will be given to applicants who have other skills including but not limited to SMAW (Stick) and GMAW (6G STT root pass) or GTAW (Tig) experience.
We offer a $5K signing bonus for all welding positions!!!
*We guarantee new hires get 3 pay increases in the first two years for hourly positions. Starting rate and then a 3, 12 and 24 month increase!*
*Shift premiums offered for 2nd and 3rd shift*
New hire package includes the following:
Holiday pay after 30 days of employment
Auto-enrollment in to 401k plan after 45 days of employment
Full benefits package, union eligibility, pay increase and 2 weeks' vacation (prorated for the first year) after 90 day probationary period.
