Product Recovery Management / Triangle Stainless is seeking a TIG/MIG Welder/Fabricator to join our team in our Butner, NC facility. The TIG/MIG Welder/Fabricator is responsible for welding aluminum and stainless steel to create complex structures, tanks, vessels, etc. The TIG/MIG Welder/Fabricator uses a variety of welding methods including but not limited to MIG and TIG welding, plasma cutting, etc. The TIG/MIG Welder/Fabricator must be able to read drawing and work accurately with others. The TIG/MIG Welder/Fabricator must be able to follow all safety rules and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Weld aluminum and stainless steel structures using MIG and TIG welding methods
• Read drawings carefully to determine welding method based on structural requirements
• Prepare work area and materials as needed
• Adjust welding equipment to proper temperature and settings for the application being performed
• Inspect work for quality control issues at various points during the job process
• Clean up work area after job is complete and at the end of each shift
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers (ex: Loading trucks)

Skills Required:

• Stainless steel or other welding (primarily TIG and some MIG) experience
• Capable of solving problems and using good judgement in making decisions
• Ability to read tape measures and using good rudimentary math skills
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs. and standing for long periods
• Physical stamina and strength for working full shifts daily
• Occasional on-site work required

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $24 - $32.00 per hour based on exceptional experience and workmanship

Requires reliable transportation and vehicle. Drug testing required.
