Job Summary:
Apply hard face filler material to nickel alloy turbine airfoils (blades & vanes) perform plug, lap or seal welds on turbine engine components. Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG).
2nd shift (2p-10p)
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret process sheets.
Complete Daily Walk Around (DWA) and utilize communication log.
Must be able to run all equipment and produce product at rate per standard work.
May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one's skills.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position approximately 75% of the time.
Adhere to all EH&S guidelines, including wearing of required personal protective equipment
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Proficient with use of machine tools and precision measuring instruments.
Aptitude for mathematics, including ability to read blueprints, read/work from drawings.
Qualifications:
1+ years of welding experience

Must be a U.S. . This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.
