Ochards Care and Rehabilitation, a secured faciity for the cognativly impared, in Tulare California is seeking qualified candidates for an RN Weekend Supervisor Part Time Day to evening shift 1000a-6p position we currently have available. We are a recently acquired, 99 bed facility that strives to provide quality care to our short term and long term residents. We are located in a small, rural, close knit community. The shift we have available for Weekend Supervisor is Day Shift 9am-530p on Saturdays and Sundays. Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse include but are not limited to:

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed
• Covers the licensed nurses on the floor in the event of an absence
• Oversite of all nursing staff, both cnas and licensed nurses, on the weekends

Qualifications of the Registered Nurse include:

• An active RN license in California
• Prior experience as an RN in a nursing community
• The desire to care for residents and act with integrity
• The ability to work flexible hours
