Seeking responsible and dependable individual to work overnight weekends in residential group home. The hours are 11:15 pm to 7:15 am - Friday and Saturday overnights. This is a part time position, 16 hours per week.
Job duties include:
Maintain the safety and security of all residents and physical plant at all times during the overnight hours.
Perform hourly room checks.
Provide direct services and teaching skills to persons with severe and persistent mental illness by assisting them with the development of living skills and necessary supports.
Demonstrate good clinical judgment in times of stress and crisis.
Demonstrate empathy.
Educational Qualifications:
BA/BA preferred; Associate's degree with minimum of one year experience in a related field required. In lieu of a degree, 3-4 years experience in a Mental Health setting.
Demonstrate ability to clearly communicate verbally and in written form.
Provide transportation in own vehicle, when necessary.
Valid driver's license and registration
Must provide excellent and current professional references.
