“J” is a positive, funny, creative 29-year-old Lindenwood University grad who works from home. She has Cerebral Palsy & epilepsy, uses a power wheelchair, and needs assistance with personal hygiene, meal preparation, basic housekeeping, and community transportation in her accessible vehicle.
“A” is a charismatic, energetic, and active 27-year old who has Down syndrome. “A” engages in many social and recreational activities, and primarily requires transportation and moderate supervisorial assistance.
Caregiver must:
*Be able to safely perform a single-person and/or Hoyer Lift transfer
*Pass a criminal background check and have a clean driving record & current license.
*Be a high school graduate.
*Have reliable transportation.
*Have basic cooking ability and knowledge of food safety practices.
*Be comfortable with one sweet cat.
Position Details:
*Location: Chesterfield MO
*Pay $26/HR(UHHC & PPL Hours split, will explain)
Hours Needed:
Saturdays: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Sunday : 8:00AM - 3:00 PM
*Abbreviated shifts available & Start times negotiable
We are seeking 1 person to cover the above shifts. Occasional overnights are needed but not mandatory.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 14 per week
