I learned so much here- they run paid training meetings every week on relevant topics that help support my role as caregiver.
Management is fair- they just want you to work hard and do the right thing. The culture is fun- lots of events, food, rewards for performance, etc. The hardest part is in dealing with difficult clients or families that have unrealistic expectations about what I do.
When that happens, I let my supervisor know and they handle it well and support me. I love my clients and winning them over- so often they are scared and upset about their condition. I try to overcome this and help them enjoy the best quality of life that is possible and that's the most rewarding part!
