Job Description:
Royal Valet is seeking a Valet Attendant to operate a variety of vehicles in a professional and courteous manner for our parking garage. The ideal candidate will be able to work Saturday & Sunday mornings 6am-2pm. The Valet Attendant will be responsible for the safe and timely parking of customer vehicles in the parking area and ensuring the safety of their keys and property inside. THIS JOB REQUIRES WEEKEND AVAILABILITY!!! A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE IS REQUIRED.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass criminal background check
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Previous experience in parking and or transportation is preferred, but not required
- Previous experience with customer service is a plus.
- This position requires walking, bending, reaching, twisting, and stooping during extended periods of time.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections on company vehicles (e.g., take photos and/or mark off damage )
- Safely drive and park vehicles according to company procedures while maintaining proper procedures .
- Checking in all vehicles using devices and scanning ticket numbers to ensure proper timing for paid parking.
- Performing key checks (matching keys and ticket numbers to cars with same ticket number)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
