Overview: Silver Oaks Chateau is a wedding and event venue that has been creating unforgettable memories in Pacific, MO since 2015! As a Morning Coordinator at our wedding venue, you play a crucial role in ensuring that all preparations are executed prior to ceremonies and receptions. Your primary responsibility is to oversee the set-up and logistics of the venue, ensuring that every detail is in place for our weddings. This role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate efficiently with couples and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
Venue Setup: Take charge of preparing the venue for morning ceremonies and receptions. This includes ensuring the venue is clean and presentable, especially bridal suite/groom suite and restrooms. Assist morning opener with moving and inspecting ceremony and reception furniture.
Vendor Coordination: Communicate with vendors during setup of their services. Ensure seamless integration of vendor services into the event setup.
Client Assistance: Serve as the main point of contact for couples and families, addressing their inquiries, accommodating special requests, and providing guidance throughout the morning prior to venue coordinator arrival. Check for any changes to day of packet.
Problem Resolution: Anticipate and resolve any issues that may arise during setup or the event itself. Stay proactive in identifying potential challenges and implementing effective solutions to minimize disruptions.
Qualifications:
Preferred: Experience in event coordination, preferably in the hospitality or wedding industry.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
Flexibility to work early mornings on weekends.
